Embark on an extraordinary journey with our transformative 50-Hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, designed to deepen your practice and teaching abilities while exploring both traditional and contemporary methods of Ashtanga. Drawing from 35 years of global teaching expertise, this training offers a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern insights, providing a well-rounded approach to the Mysore self-practice, Ashtanga philosophy, and the first and second series techniques.
As you immerse yourself in this comprehensive program, you will explore a variety of dynamic practices and receive personalized guidance in areas such as Ashtanga alignment, the intricacies of adjustment techniques, and the subtle nuances that transform your practice into an art form. You will learn how to teach Ashtanga classes using both the classic count and contemporary, trauma-sensitive language, ensuring that your classes are inclusive and empowering for all students.
One of the key features of this training is a deep dive into Ashtanga for women’s bodies, exploring how the practice evolves at different stages of life and how to adapt it for self-care and healing. You'll also explore the philosophical concepts that form the foundation of Ashtanga, such as tristana (breath, posture, and gaze), and gain a profound understanding of the Yoga Sutras and their relevance to everyday practice.
In addition to daily pose clinics and workshops focused on refining your technique, you’ll delve into the yoga lifestyle, learning how to integrate the practice’s principles into all aspects of your life. The training also provides you with the tools to enhance your leadership abilities, making it an ideal opportunity for both aspiring teachers and those looking to refine their skills.
Upon completion, you will earn the highly respected 50-Hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Certificate, which is internationally recognized and opens the door to endless possibilities in your teaching career. To be eligible, you will need a 200-hour Yoga teaching certification, and while some Ashtanga yoga experience is required, you do not need to be at an advanced level.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your personal practice, teach dynamic Ashtanga classes, or immerse yourself in the rich, philosophical depth of this transformative discipline, this program will empower you to embody the passion and commitment of an Ashtanga practitioner. Let your journey unfold as you become a confident, capable, and inspirational teacher, ready to share the powerful teachings of Ashtanga yoga with the world.
