Koh Phangan, Thailand

Koh Phangan , Thailand
In today’s fast-paced modern world, many people feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and longing for inner peace and deeper purpose. Yoga often begins as a personal practice, yet for many it becomes a calling—to understand themselves more fully, to live with greater awareness, and to share the healing power of yoga with others. Finding the right environment, guidance, and support for such a transformation is essential.
Set on the enchanting island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand, Orion Healing Centre offers a truly nurturing and immersive sanctuary for this journey. Surrounded by tropical nature, ocean breezes, and a strong spiritual energy, Orion provides the ideal space to step away from daily distractions, reconnect with the breath, and rediscover one’s true self.
The 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is a 28-day intensive program that goes far beyond traditional certification. This is not only a professional training, but a deep journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal expansion. Students are immersed in a supportive community where lifelong friendships are formed, unforgettable memories are created, and yoga becomes a way of living, not just a practice.
Throughout the course, participants explore yoga philosophy, functional anatomy, alignment, hands-on adjustments, and creative sequencing, supported by daily yoga practices and interactive workshops. Great emphasis is placed on learning how to teach safe, inclusive, and inspiring classes, including offering modifications and injury-aware practices. By the end of the training, graduates feel confident, empowered, and ready to teach anywhere in the world.
As a dedicated healing centre, Orion weaves holistic wellbeing into every aspect of the training. Students enjoy nourishing vegan meals, access to steam room, sauna, ice bath, and swimming pool, emotional empowerment workshops, Kirtan, and group excursions to waterfalls and Thai temples. This integrated approach ensures that the experience supports not only physical strength, but also emotional clarity, spiritual growth, and inner balance.
Graduates leave with an internationally recognized Yoga Teacher Certification, but more importantly, they depart with a renewed sense of purpose, a deeper connection to themselves, and the inspiration to share yoga from a place of authenticity, compassion, and presence. At Orion, the training is not about striving—it is about surrendering to the flow, just like the breath itself.
The accommodation offers a serene sanctuary designed to support deep inner transformation, far beyond a one-day juice fast or occasional yoga class. Set in the tropical paradise of Koh Phangan, the peaceful eco-zen bungalows and lush garden rooms are thoughtfully nestled among coconut trees, butterflies, geckos, and the soothing sounds of nature. Each space is intentionally crafted to bring guests back to the essentials—nature, peace, and harmony—creating an environment that perfectly complements the healing treatments and wellness programs.
This is an ideal place to unplug, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. With beachfront accommodation, palm trees at your doorstep, and quiet corners for writing, meditation, and inner reflection, guests find the stillness they need to reset and realign. It is a space where you can truly step away from the noise of a digitally overloaded world and return to a state of simplicity, clarity, and grounded presence.
The accommodation offers four distinct room types, each designed for comfort and tranquility: the Type B Zen Bamboo Bungalows with either a double bed or two single beds; the Type D Hibiscus & Acacia Standard Rooms featuring a queen-size bed; the Type E Lily & Lotus Superior Rooms also equipped with a queen-size bed; and the Type F Jasmine & Orchid Deluxe Rooms, offering enhanced space and a queen-size bed for a more luxurious retreat experience.
Please note that light construction is taking place near the Type B bungalows and Circle Shala. While there may be some noise during working hours, all programs, yoga classes, workshops, and healing offerings continue uninterrupted. Your patience and positive energy are appreciated as the space undergoes enhancements to serve you even better.
