The course itself is shaped from thousands of hours of global teaching experience. It specializes in Vinyasa and Ashtanga with a strong emphasis on the breath–movement connection, helping you build a solid foundation in practice and teaching. You will deepen your understanding of asana alignment, hands-on adjustments, pranayama, meditation, mantra, sequencing, anatomy, philosophy, teaching methodology, and the business aspects of yoga. Afternoon workshops in Yin, Restorative, Hatha, and Yoga Nidra add depth and versatility to your yoga toolkit, empowering you to guide classes with confidence and creativity.

Your daily rhythm in Bali flows with intention and balance. Mornings begin with pranayama, meditation, chanting, and a strong Vinyasa practice to awaken your body and mind. Midday sessions dive into alignment labs, anatomy, philosophy, and teaching techniques. Afternoons soften into restorative practices or special workshops, giving you the space to integrate, reflect, and refine your understanding. You’ll have one full day off each week to explore Bali, rest, or simply enjoy the serene rice fields.

You will stay in a traditional retreat center nestled in Ubud’s lush rice fields—accessible only by foot or scooter for a truly immersive, peaceful experience. The accommodations include private, double, or triple rooms, each equipped with air-conditioning and a small kitchenette. Step onto your balcony or into the open fields to enjoy tranquility, connection, and a sense of being completely held by nature.

Nutrition plays a central role in your transformation. YogaUnion collaborates with Ubud’s top health-food chefs to offer a delicious yogic, plant-based diet, blending local organic produce, tropical fruits, superfoods, and Mediterranean influences. At the completion of your course, you will teach a 30-minute Vinyasa class, complete a written exam, and—upon successful assessment—receive your Yoga Alliance 200-Hour certification, allowing you to teach professionally anywhere in the world. Accommodation

The shala, accommodation, and the restaurant are located in the luscious rice fields, where you can really enjoy the peaceful surroundings whilst being at one with nature. The location is not accessible by cars, therefore feet, bicycles, and motorbikes are only welcome. All rooms are of a similar standard, are designed in a contemporary and authentic Balinese architecture and aesthetics.

During your stay, you will get free Wi-Fi, hot water, private toilets, cleaning service, and fresh towels.

Himanshu

Himanshu, from a traditional yoga family in India, holds a 500 RYT, B.A. in Yoga & Naturopathy, and M.A. in Yoga. Combining his enthusiasm with a technical asana approach, he inspires students to achieve long-term health, well-being, and fitness. Specializing in Hatha and Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Himanshu also teaches asana theory, adjustments, and alignment. He is the lead teacher at YogaUnion, following his experience teaching 200hr and 300hr teacher training courses.

Meal Details

This course includes 20 vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, from Mondays to Saturdays. Sundays are excluded, as it's a 'day off'.

Breakfast consists of a tropical fruit salad, daily choice of porridge, black rice pudding, or Balinese crepes, all served alongside toast and eggs, as well as coffee, tea, and juice.

The richly-flavored lunch and dinner buffet offers a variety of local dishes, vegetable stews and curries, legumes and grains, as well as a choice of salads. The tasty home-made food is freshly prepared with local and mostly organic ingredients.

For Sundays, you have a choice between numerous restaurants and amazing health food places in Ubud or around the rice fields.

Special food requirements such as vegan or gluten-free diet may be accommodated. If you have special dietary requirements, it's a good idea to communicate it before making a reservation.

Sundays are completely free, allowing for exciting day trips into the stunning tropical nature. It will be an amazing opportunity to be part of life in Bali. The great island of Bali offers a variety of breath-taking excursions. Bali is located just south of the equator, and is one of the 17000 islands of Indonesia. It features lush tropical vegetation, big volcano mountains, and countless beaches with big waves and coral reefs.

You can enjoy surfing in the famous waves of Bali. Other popular beach activities include stand-up paddling, snorkeling, diving, or just enjoying your free time in the sun. The nearby mountains invite for a sunrise volcano tour, hikes to paradise waterfalls, downhill biking, as well as visits to tropical jungle farms, producing cacao, vanilla, coffee, mangoes, and much more.

Ubud is famous for its artistic wood carving and stone work, featuring picturesque temples, art and fashion galleries, colorful markets and exclusive health food dining, as well as stylish spa resorts with tropical swimming pools to unwind. An all-time favorite is the downtown monkey forest with giant trees, temples, and countless free monkeys.

Citizens of most Western countries receive a convenient 30-day visa on arrival at Bali's main airport, Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). The free (stamp) Visa cannot be extended however, you can purchase a 'visa on arrival' The initial 30 days can be extended by another 30 days, allowing for a convenient 60-day stay in paradise.

Directions

Arrival by car/taxi Cars are not allowed on the rice field path on the way to the premises, which is accessible only by foot or scooters/motorcycles. The drivers will assist you with your transportation and luggage should you book the transport with the Retreat owner. The rice field path is the main ‘street’ of the area, and all of the students’ accommodation, shala, and the restaurant are located there. The neighbourhood is peaceful and serene; they therefore kindly ask that you be mindful of this.
