The 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is an immersive introduction into the world of yoga, designed for beginners, yoga enthusiasts, and even experienced practitioners or teachers seeking to refresh and deepen their understanding. Rooted in authentic tradition, this program provides an opportunity to experience Yoga-in-Totality, a comprehensive approach that goes far beyond the physical practice of asanas. It is an invitation to live yoga as a complete science of life, exploring its philosophy, practices, and spiritual wisdom in a nurturing ashram-like environment.
This course is a continuation of the 50-hour foundation program, but it is also open to those joining directly with a fresh curiosity and commitment. The training is carefully structured to cover both the theoretical and practical aspects of yoga, blending ancient methods with modern insights. Students are guided to build a strong foundation in yoga practice while cultivating discipline, mindfulness, and self-awareness.
The curriculum includes a wide spectrum of yoga studies such as the tradition, history, and philosophy of yoga, detailed study of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras and the Eight Limbs of Yoga, Hatha Yoga practices, the Four Paths of Yoga as described in the Bhagavad Gita, and the teachings of the Upanishads. Alongside philosophical studies, participants will engage in daily practices of meditation, pranayama, asanas, and mantra chanting, ensuring a well-rounded and integrated learning experience.
One of the strengths of this training lies in its environment. Participants are welcomed into a community setting that supports yogic living, with a daily class schedule, structured practice, and a sattvic diet plan tailored to their body type. Additionally, students are introduced to the principles of Ayurveda and receive a consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor, making the program truly holistic in addressing both the physical and subtle aspects of well-being.
Upon completion of the 100-hour training, participants will not only gain a clearer understanding of yoga as a discipline but also experience personal transformation. The course is designed to help individuals discover new dimensions of themselves, uncover hidden strengths, and integrate yogic practices into their daily lives. For some, this training may serve as a foundation to continue towards a 200-hour certification, while for others it may simply be a stepping stone on their personal journey of self-discovery and mindful living.
The benefits of the program extend beyond the mat. Guided by experienced and knowledgeable teachers, students are encouraged to embrace patience, dedication, and an open heart. The training emphasises practical application, so participants can not only improve their own health, awareness, and lifestyle but also inspire and support others in doing the same.
The 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is recommended for yoga teachers looking to expand their knowledge, practitioners who wish to live a healthier and more harmonious life, and beginners who are ready to commit to learning with sincerity. It is, however, not suitable for those who are only fascinated by the physical postures without interest in the deeper aspects of yoga, or for those unable to commit to patient and disciplined study.
Ultimately, this training offers far more than techniques—it provides a profound insight into yoga as a way of life, encouraging participants to embody harmony, awareness, and inner peace. It is a step into the vast spiritual tradition of yoga, where students can experience transformation, both within themselves and in the way they relate to the world around them.
